Description
Each 5 ml (one teaspoonful) contains:
Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride – 2 mg.
Vitamin B1 – 1 mg.
Vitamin B2 – 0.5 mg.
Vitamin B6 – 0.5 mg.
Niacinamide – 10 mg.
Vitamin B12 – 1 mcg.
Flavoured base – q.s .
Dosage:
Children:
2 to 6 yrs: 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) to 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) 2 or 3 times daily.
7 to 14 yr: 2 teaspoonful (10 ml) 2 or 3 times daily.
Adolescents & Adults:
2 teaspoonful (10 ml) times daily. or as directed by the physician.
Side effects:
Confusion.
Hallucinations.
Convulsions.
Restlessness.
Blurred vision.
Fainting.
Unusual or irregular pulse.
Wheezing.
Dry mouth.
Dry nose.
Drowsiness (often transient).
