Below are the statistics or results of the First School Leaving Certificate examination:

• The number of registered candidates for the First School Leaving Certificate examinations in secondary schools (Grammar schools): 9120.
• The number of candidates who sat in for the exams is 8620.
• The number of successful candidates is 7627.
• The percentage of pupils who have passed is 90.30% as against 85.30% last year.
