Surekit Hiv kit

Description

SureKit is a QC approved antibody test kit used for the Invitro qualitative detection of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1/2) viral antibodies in human blood, serum or plasma. The test is quite accurate & detection occurs in less than 10 minutes.

Operation of the test:

Peel the tamper proof seal to open the test and reveal its contents
Read the instructions for use carefully, either English or Swahili, whichever language you prefer
Lay the contents on a flat surface & peel open the test pad & the pouch containing the lancet, buffer & pipette
Clean the preferred area for sample collection area using the provided alcohol pad
Take the provided lancet and push it against the cleaned surface until you hear a clicking sound
Using the provided pipette draw the blood sample from the punctured site and drop it onto the sample well, the section marked ‘S’
Proceed to add two drops of the buffer onto the sample well and wait for 10 minutes for results to show on the window

Interpretation of results:

Positive : Red band appears in both test area (T) & the quality control area (C) indicating a possible infection
Negative : No red band appears in the test area (T) & the quality control area (C) indicating no infection present
Invalid : There is no red band in the quality control area (C), regardless of whether a red band appears or doesn’t in the test area (T) indicating that the test result of the kit is invalid.
