Description
Composition: Each enteric coated capsule contains: Peppermint oil 150 mg, Neem oil 500 mg.
Pharmacological effects: Peppermint oil induces a dose-related antispasmodic effect on the gastrointestinal smooth muscles. Neem oil?s properties as an antiseptic, antifungal, antipyretic and antihistamine. Indications Indicated for the over-the-counter use for the symptomatic relief of minor spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, flatulence and abdominal paint, especially in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Contraindications: Peppermint oil is relatively contraindicated in patients with hiatal hernia or significant gastroesophageal reflux disease, because its effect on the lower esophageal sphincter can lead to exacerbation of symptoms. Peppermint oil has been used to trigger menstruation and should be avoided during pregnancy.
